About Misbehavin'

History of Misbehavin'

Misbehavin' began as a concept band in 2001. Bassist Ron Zastaury approached guitar player Chris Dansdill with the idea to form a band that plays rock songs in a swing style. Moving forward with the idea, they recruited the other members of the band. Pretty soon the band moved into covering Jazz standards adding many classics from the 30's, 40's, and 50's in the style of Rosemary Clooney, Sarah Vaughn, Peggy Lee, Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. Misbehavin's favorites also include swinging arrangements of tunes from the Beatles, Van Morrison and other pop/rock artists. Misbehavin' has stamped a musical style all their own as part of the Tucson live music scene. Their unique swing approach delights audience members at any function or event they play.
